Predictions made on the forecasting site, a crypto-powered platform, that the Venezuelan president would be no longer in control by the close of the month rose in the period preceding President Donald Trump declared on January 3rd that Maduro had been apprehended.
A particular user, which registered on the site last month and took four positions, all on Venezuela, earned over $nearly half a million from a modest bet of $32,537.
